On the Northern shore of the Yucatan peninsula is the town of Rio Lagartos, home of Tarpon Cay Lodge. For a week in July I was able to enjoy some saltwater fly fishing with 5 fellow anglers. The species targeted was juvenile Tarpon, known for their spectacular leaping ability. They did not disappoint!
